Founded in 2005 with a vision to revolutionize the energy sector, HighTec Energy began as a small startup dedicated to solar panel research. Over the years, we expanded our expertise into wind energy, geothermal, and advanced energy storage solutions. By 2010, we launched our first utility-scale solar farm, marking a significant milestone. In 2015, we diversified into residential energy solutions, making sustainable power accessible to homes across the nation. Benjamin Day is a seasoned engineering and operations executive with 20+ years of experience across the petrochemical, refining, midstream, and energy infrastructure sectors. He has held senior leadership roles at Southcross Energy (SVP of Engineering), Enterprise Products Partners, Dynegy Midstream, and other major industrial organizations.
Ben brings deep expertise in project integration, process and mechanical engineering, large-scale infrastructure execution, and operational optimization, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects from concept through commercialization. He holds degrees in Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, providing a rare blend of technical depth and execution leadership.
His background spans upstream, midstream, and downstream operations, making him highly effective at bridging engineering design, constructability, and long-term operational performance - critical to rapid, capital-efficient deployment of energy assets.

Ritesh Shah

Ritesh Shah is an experienced energy sector leader with 22+ years of global industry experience, co-founding HighTec Energy to drive high-impact engineering and execution excellence in energy infrastructure and power generation.
Prior to HighTec, he served as Vice President at Tailwater Technical Consulting (TTC), where he led technical strategy and performance optimization across complex energy projects. At enterprise-scale organizations including Enterprise Products Partners, ConocoPhillips, and KBR, Ritesh developed deep expertise in engineering, optimization of natural gas and NGL plants, and commercial execution of critical assets. He played a key role in regulatory achievements such as securing major permits, and his background spans conceptual studies through field performance testing and operational optimization.,
Ritesh holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, bringing both technical depth and commercial acumen to HighTec’s leadership.
